GIRLS CLUB

Wednesdays: 7:00 p.m.

GIRLS CLUBS

The Girls Clubs are an outreach ministry sponsored by our Women's Ministries Department.  We have four age groups in which girls can be involved.

Little Sweethearts.... Preschool: ages 3-5

Preschool girls (ages 3-5) are provided exciting learning experiences through personal development and relationship skills, fellowship and recreation in a Christian atmosphere.

The Little Sweethearts Motto: "I am Special to God".

BlueBelles..... Grades 1-3

Primary girls (grades 1-3) are provided exciting learning experiences through the achievement series, BlueBelles Bible Explorations, merit badge studies, and group activities.

The BlueBelles Motto:  "Ringing out God's Love".

Joy Belles... grades 4-6

Junior girls (grades 4-6) are provided group activities, an exciting achievement program: "Journeys with Joy Belles," and merit badge studies.

The Joy Belles Motto: "We Serve Joyfully"

Young Ladies Ministries (YLM)... grades 7-12

YLM is an outreach ministry to teenage girls (grades 7-12).  The highest aspiration is that every girl will become a Christian and then be sanctified and filled with the Holy Spirit.

The YLM's Motto:  "Reflecting His Image".

The Girls Clubs exist for the purpose of:

~Encouraging growth in Christ
~Developing personal character, abilities and skills
~Discovering ways to serve others
~Providing Christian fellowship and recreation
~Winning peers for Christ

The Annual Girls Jamboree in Tifton, Ga. is a great time for the girls to meet other girls their age and they are recognized for their achievments from the past year.

Each girl has their own workbooks and sash.  The sash contains the colors from their group and badges are added to the sash as activities and lessons are completed.

Each girl also has a Prayer Mother.  The Prayer Mother prays daily for their girl and is/can be her mentor.  The Girls Clubs are designed to help keep the girls involved in church, in their community, and in their home.

Norma Mooney is the Girls Clubs Coordinator.
